You should see them iver here in Ireland. Although, one bright spot was when our local Green Candidate tried to lecture the locals on their "white privilege" and her social media deedygot swamped with pictures of barefooted kids carrying water buckets and digging peat and other "privileged" things that were common in Ireland (not her class of Ireland of course) until surprisingly recently.
'knitted their own yogurt' - I'm still laughing at this, Francis!
Can't we force political parties to have standards? The Electoral Commission disallowed an Islamic party and that is exactly what the Green Party is now. There must be standards that all parties adhere to or they can't put candidates forward. Yes, that probably means no more candidates dressed as a superhero or the Black Knight from The Holy Grail, but priorities!
The pure cynical opportunism of the Greens advertising in Urdu in the G&D ByElection was just outstanding. I'm sure the Muslim continent gels wonderfully with the gay, Jewish party leader.
Maybe the greens should look at a bit of, fairly recent, Iranian history to see how well things went last time that liberals and Islamists buddied up.
Hilarious but true - I have a pair of lefty mates who've made exactly the journey you've described: huge fans of Labour under Corbyn, alienated by the Starmeroids and the Jezzobollah Party's nonsense infighting, they've washed up on the shores of the Green Party, and aren't just offering their votes to that benighted crew, but go out stumping for them on the election trail.
I love them dearly, so I keep my gob shut on the topic, but it doesn't 'arf make for some interesting conversations occasionally, when politics does actually manage to rear its ugly head as I explore a thousand different ways of being non-commital in a heroic effort to keep a friendship going...
Thirty five years ago I had the misfortune to live in Canberra. The nicest thing you can say about it is that it's Milton Keynes without the concrete cows. In reality it's an entire public service town peopled by green lefties who wouldn't get a job anywhere except in the government. And two things stay with me to this day. The first is the warehouse sized sex shops where you push a supermarket trolley around to buy your blow-up dolls, dildoes and X-rated videos whilst you've left your kids in the creche. And after you've gone through the check out you wander over to the cafe to enquire about having your department's office Christmas party there, and they can do vegan catering can't they? I kid you not. The second is that the A.C.T. Assembly (ie the overblown local council) was elected under proportional representation. And not only did Canberra elect the usual eco-nuts, there was also a representative of the Marijuana Party and - again I kid you not - the Party, Party, Party Party. Running Australia's capital city...
Excellent, Mr Foster, and I have finally decided to commit myself to your cause - £38/year is pretty good value... I advise everybody else to do the same!
The Green Party was founded by the globalist NGO, The Club of Rome, which was founded by the Rockefellers, the Royal Family of the Netherlands and the Italian millionaire Aurelio Pecceli. The goal of the Club of Rome is a one world govt, drastically lowering the standard of living/limiting our access to natural resources, so that we don’t “overpopulate” and top-down authoritarian control via the UN. The Club of Rome commissioned the totally fraudulent study, Limits to Growth.

Is "knitting one's own yoghurt" a quote from the comissar of comedy Alexei Sayle?
Best line: …one half wants to ban fossil fuels and the other half prays towards a country entirely funded by them.
Superb Franicis! Your Hummus-Hamas quip is one to remember.

He's not the Messiah. He's a very naughty boy !
Curious as an outsider, does a Green vote liberate Palestine?

Urgh. The very sight of Spooky Tooth makes me vom.
